Each weekend, starting Friday, I will be giving away something for free; to start it might only be textures, but as I get more into (digital) mixed media, it might be digital stencils, digital brushes, or even an image that you can use. I hope that you enjoy creating with the freebies.

Note: The file will expire Sunday evening at 9:30 PM (Pacific Time).

This weeks freebie was created in Chaotica. I’ve included 2 versions, the original color version and a converted Black and White version that can be used as a clipping mask. These are transparent png files that can be added to a blank layer without you having to do any masking. The final image sizes are 6000 x 4000 @ 300 dpi. The zip file size is 202 MB.

Note: The repeating pattern is not included on the file you download.

You may sell any artwork you create with this texture, as long as it is not the dominant part of your artwork.

You MAY NOT sell the texture as your own or include it as part of a group/package of downloads.

Questions? Confused? Contact me!

Here's a couple of samples using this weeks image.

I would love to see what you create with this texture. Feel free to leave a link to where you’ve posted a picture.

Have a Good Weekend Debbie

  1. just a heads up. the file is large so when you download, Google says “Google Drive can’t scan this file for viruses. (202M) is too large for Google to scan for viruses. Would you still like to download this file?”

I trust you so I downloaded but I just thought it’s just something you might want to know about.

    1. Thank you, Mary. I guess next time I’ll have 2 download buttons instead of zipping the files together.

      1. sounds like a good plan
