Friday Freebie is now Weekend Freebie

Today’s freebie was created using Alcohol Ink on Yupo paper. I scanned it in at 600 dpi so you have a high resolution image to play with. The final image size, after shrinking down a bit, is 6000 x 4000 @ 300 dpi.

I would love to see what you create with this texture. Feel free to leave a link to where you’ve posted a picture.

Mary, at Cactus Haiku, was kind enough to share her before and after photos using this texture. Thank you, Mary! Check out her post to read the haiku/senryu and her references.

  1. As you sounded like you needed a test subject, I downloaded from ExpireBox with no problems. I can download 2 ways, one as a Save As and one as opening directly into a program, in my case, CC Photoshop. Both ways of downloading worked for me.

    • LOVE IT!!!!! If you want to email me the before and after photos, I’ll add them to the bottom of the blog. Or you could use ExpireBox.com and send me the link.

        • Mary, It’s up to you…if you want to help promote your Kayla WordPress site, you can do a pingback like you did with Cactus Haiku. Or, I can do a screen grab, post them at the bottom of the blog with a link back to C.H.

          • sent you an email with a before/after pic I put together to make it easier for folks to see the difference your texture makes in the sea and sky
