While taking out the trash cans earlier today I noticed that my neighbor’s bearded iris had lots of buds that looked like they were soon going to be opening. When bringing one of the cans in, I happened to glance over and see that one of the buds opened up. Of course I had to go outside with my camera and take some pictures! Unfortunately it was breezy to windy and even holding the stalk with one hand, while trying to take pictures with the other, was proving to be difficult. This was probably the best take…and I liked the lighting.

101 days down, 264 to go!!
