Weekly Photo Challenge – Weathered

This weeks Photo Challenge, Weathered, is to “show us the effect of time and the elements.” Three of the photos were taken while hiking at Solstice Canyon in August of 2013. The 4th photo was seen while hiking in Cheseboro Canyon in November of 2015.

Remains of the Keller House, a stone hunting cabin built over one hundred years ago, damaged by fire in 2007.

Weekend Freebie 09-14-18: Blue Fantasy

Today’s freebie started life as a photo of my crystal fiber lamp. I then ran it through Topaz Studio to process the RAW file. Then I opened it in Affinity Photo and played around some more before coming up with the design. The last piece was adding a texture I created in Pixelmator on my iPad. The final image size is 6000 x 4000 @ 300 dpi. File size is 4.46 MB.
